We are looking for a calm and empathetic teaching assistant to support the SEMH children and make some difference in their learning lives. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Join our collaborative team and become an integral part of our students' journey to success.
- You'll work with students who have social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them to learn and grow.
- You'll help to make learning fun and engaging for students.
- You'll be part of a team of professionals dedicated to helping students succeed.
- You'll be a positive role model and mentor for students, creating a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable and valued.
Requirements:
- Have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (Childcare, Education Support, Psychology)
- Have experience working with children with special needs
- Understand child development, especially when it comes to SEMH
- A great communicator and team player
- Posses an Enhanced DBS check or willingness to get one.
- Eligible to work in the UK without any restrictions
- You are a confident driver with access to your own vehicle.
