Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of SEMH needs.
- Assess and monitor student's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that fosters independence and confidence.
- Support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress.
- Attend meetings and training, and participate in school events as required.
About You:
- We are looking for an SEMH Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) as mandatory.
- Proven experience in teaching students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Passionate about making a difference in students' lives.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.
- A positive, patient, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
