We are currently looking for full-time SEMH Teaching Assistants to work with students in Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, helping those with additional learning and behavioural needs in the LS14 area. This role offers the chance to make a significant difference, working Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Role and Responsibilities:
... - Support students with SEMH needs in both academic and social settings, fostering their emotional and behavioural development.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to assist students in overcoming barriers to learning.
- Help manage behaviour in a positive and consistent manner, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create individualised learning plans.
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to reports where necessary.
- Act as a role model and mentor, encouraging students to build self-esteem and develop social skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH or similar behavioural needs.
- A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on patience, empathy, and resilience.
- A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive approach to supporting students.
