Role Overview
In this role, you will work closely with teachers to provide lesson support, one-on-one assistance, and a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Student Support
- Offer individualised support to students to aid their academic and social development.
- Promote self-confidence and independence through structured activities.
- Build an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
Classroom Assistance
- Help teachers deliver lessons tailored to SEN students.
- Ensure a safe and organised learning space.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Prior experience working with children in SEN settings preferred.
- Knowledge: Understanding of safeguarding practices.
- Attributes: A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
