Randstad is currently seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in Plymouth. We are particularly interested in candidates who exhibit empathy, compassion, determination, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain patient while assisting special needs students.
In this role, you will have a rewarding experience working with SEN students, discovering effective ways to support their unique learning paths. You will also have the chance to identify the hidden talents of SEN children and help them thrive.
What is necessary for this role?
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- Relevant SEN experience in the UK
- Ability to provide 2 professional references
- Strong grasp of child development and the learning process
What responsibilities can be expected?
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to enhance student learning and development
- Identifying challenges and creating innovative solutions to support student progress
- Fostering a positive and encouraging environment to motivate students
- Observing, documenting, and reporting student progress and achievements
