Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term-time only
About the Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students aged 11-16 with special educational needs, including Autism. Working closely with teachers, you will provide classroom support and engage students in outdoor activities like Bushcraft and life skills. Your role will be crucial in helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support while ensuring student safety and well-being.
- Assist students in reaching their Education and Healthcare Plan (EHCP) targets.
- Apply positive behaviour management strategies tailored to each student.
- Keep thorough records of incidents, accidents, and health and safety concerns.
- Promote teamwork and encourage positive social interactions among students.

- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) are preferred but not essential.
