SEN Teaching Assistant - ASD & Communication Needs
We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our specialist school. You'll be supporting students aged 4-16 with Autism, speech and language needs, and social/emotional challenges.
What You'll Do:
Work closely with teachers and therapists
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
Promote emotional regulation and independence
Support communication through visuals and AAC
Essential:
Experience supporting pupils with SEN
Empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude
Strong understanding of safeguarding
