SEN Teacher - Inspire and Support Young Learners!

Location: Derby, Derbyshire
Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience) ...

Hours: Full-time, Term Time Only

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a real impact in the lives of children with additional needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our specialist school in Derby, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for children with Autism, ADHD, Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet students' individual needs.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to develop EHCP-focused learning plans.
Support students in building confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
Use innovative teaching techniques to support students with complex learning needs.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching students with SEND, including Autism and SEMH.
A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to teaching.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
A deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection in an SEN setting.
