Some of your responsibilities for the role include:
- Make sure that the classroom is a capable place where students can flourish, have their needs satisfied, and engage in constructive relationships.
- Ensure excellent instruction by efficiently allocating resources and making plans.
- Plan customised, individualised learning experiences and activities for each student based on their unique needs and achievement levels.
- To communicate as needed with caretakers, parents, and outside agencies
- To oversee, mentor, and oversee Teaching Assistants in accordance with their duties
Applicants should:
- Recognized in the UK as having a specialism or substantial expertise in Special Educational Needs (SEN), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on update service (willing to get one).
- Must provide 2 professional references.
- A track record of success dealing with kids who have a variety of special education requirements, such as autism, ADHD, learning challenges, and emotional and behavioural issues
- Be fervent, motivating, and focused on the needs of children and adolescents
- Have the dedication and knowledge to help students of all needs and abilities reach their full potential
- Be able to encourage, involve, and inspire learning in all students
- Be cool under pressure and able to keep a sense of humour, but also adaptable enough to shift course when circumstances do.
- Be dedicated to fostering the mental and physical health as well as independence of students
