Local SEN school based near Royston is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join their team following continued growth and expansion. Working for this independent, specialist school dedicated to providing a highly personalised learning environment for students aged 6 to 19 with a range of complex needs, you will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering tailored, high-quality learning.
Creating an engaging and supportive environment.
Working closely with class leaders, therapists, and other professionals.
Contributing to the overall development of the curriculum.
Leading and managing support staff effectively.
Engaging in assessments and reporting on students' progress.
Potential for involvement in physical intervention and personal care routines

To be successful in your application, you will have:

PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification with evidence of ongoing professional development (essential).

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Attention to detail in assessing, recording, and reporting progress.
Leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support other adults in the classroom.
