Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad - this is essential
- Provide 2 professional references - this is essential
- Passion for working with SEN children
- Relevant GCSE, 'A' level or graduate qualifications or equivalent
- Ability to establish positive and meaningful relationships with SEN students and teachers
- Empathetic, caring and compassionate.
Responsibilities
- Supporting KS3-KS4 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group, and classroom basis
- Attend student's personal needs and offer guidance on welfare matters
- Prepare materials of the quality and quantity specified by the teacher
- Protect pupils who require special education by providing them with specific assistance
- Support behaviour management at the beginning and end of lessons and during lesson transfer
- Support the delivery of high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, challenging, and tailored educational activities aligned with a diverse and comprehensive curriculum
- Help Children to reach their full potential across all learning domains
