About the Role:
We are looking for a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive school community in Patchway. This full-time, permanent role is dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs, offering them a structured, supportive environment. You will work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other diverse learning needs, helping to create a positive and engaging learning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to SEN students.
- Support the implementation of IEPs and behaviour management techniques.
- Adapt tasks and resources to meet individual needs.
- Monitor and report on student progress to aid personalized learning plans.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in SEN environments is valued, but not essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication, adaptability, and empathy.
- Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English proficiency is preferred.
