Location: Quidenham, Norwich
Salary: £21,709.61 - £22,388.59 (depending on experience)
Hourly Rate: £12.15 - £12.53 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, term-time only
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (5:00 pm finish on Thursdays, with time adjusted on another day)

We are currently seeking committed Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in supporting secondary school students with special educational needs. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to foster a positive learning environment, helping students achieve both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build warm, supportive relationships with students to help them feel secure and engaged in their learning.
- Encourage independence and personal growth, maintaining high standards of behaviour.
- Assist in delivering a broad, balanced curriculum by supporting the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities.
- Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom duties and adapt to the changing needs of the school.
- Promote students' cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to meet students' needs.
Requirements:
- GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent).
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards it).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience working with students with SEMH and ASD.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to the location).
