This specialist school is looking for a SEN teaching assistant to join their team ASAP (notice periods considered) on a full time, Long term/contract basis (37.5 hours a week). This role is a term time only opportunity. This setting is fun, inclusive and inspiring day and residential school. The setting currently supports approx. 90+ children and young adults across 2 incredibly resourced and welcoming school buildings. Children and Young people in attendance at this school are aged between 5-19 years and have both moderate and profound Complex needs including EBD and Autism so a supportive, nurturing and resilient team member is needed. The role of a SEN teaching Assistant within this school is varied. Whilst you are working within a school your role isn't just to support the educational needs of the children. This school is committed to making education accessible for all and enjoyable at all times however is equally committed to supporting the whole child including their personal development, life skills and general well being. With this school you can be promised that no day will ever be the same and you can truly make a difference and impact every day to the lives of many children.
This role is needed Monday-Friday, 08:30-4:30pm. It is a term time only role.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Level 2 Diploma in teaching and learning (desirable not essential)
Experience working or volunteering with children or young adults
Must have: GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Eligibility to work in the UK
