We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Post-16 provision. You'll support students aged 16-19 with learning difficulties and autism, helping them build life skills, independence, and confidence as they prepare for adulthood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual or small group sessions focusing on functional literacy, numeracy, and independent living skills.

• Assist students with personal care and mobility where necessary.

• Encourage social communication and appropriate interaction within the wider community.

• Liaise with therapists, tutors, and external agencies to promote a holistic learning experience.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience with SEN, particularly Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

• Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient.

• Ability to adapt resources and support students with EHCPs.
