We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supply team and work with a vibrant primary school in Bury St Edmunds. This role can start immediately for the right candidate.
We are keen to hear from enthusiastic individuals with experience or a genuine interest in working with children with additional needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to children with a range of learning needs, helping them to succeed and grow.
- Work one-on-one or with small groups, contributing to a positive and collaborative learning environment.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels supported and valued.

Your Role as a SEN Teaching Assistant
In this role, you will:
- Support individual or group learners with planned activities
- Promote the general well-being of students in your care
- Monitor and evaluate students' progress under the teacher's guidance
- Assist teachers in implementing effective management strategies to create a productive learning environment
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- A good understanding of Special Educational Needs
- The ability to manage disengaged learners effectively
- A valid and clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
