The Role :
We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to work at a wonderful SEN School based in Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, providing tailored support to ensure their academic, social, and emotional growth. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will assist classroom teachers in delivering tailored lessons and activities and provide one-to-one or small group support for students with a variety of needs. You will also support students with personal care and mobility when required.

Your Responsibilities:
- Tailor support to address the unique learning requirements of students with SEN.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist in maintaining classroom order, fostering a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the academic and social progress of students with SEN.
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Caring and empathetic personality.
- Commitment to safeguarding children.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
