- Help manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Work alongside teachers and the SENCo to monitor and track students' progress.
- Assist with the use of specialist equipment or technology to support children's learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents, ensuring that all involved are kept informed of progress and concerns.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Is adaptable, reliable, and able to work well within a team.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Having experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN), either in a classroom or other relevant setting would be desired but anyone that shares the passion to help children better their education is welcomed to apply.
What we offer:
- Flexible working hours with both short-term and long-term supply placements available.
- A variety of rewarding opportunities in schools across Hertfordshire, working with children with a range of SEN needs.
- Competitive rates of pay.
- Ongoing support from our experienced team to ensure your success in the role.
- Opportunities to gain valuable experience working with children with diverse needs.
