The Role :
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our partnered esteemed SEN School based in King's Lynn. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with a variety of special educational needs, adapting lessons and activities to meet their individual requirements. You will also keep track of students' progress and development, providing feedback to teachers and families as needed.

Your Responsibilities:
- Tailor support to address the unique learning requirements of students with SEN.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist in maintaining classroom order, fostering a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the academic and social progress of students with SEN.
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Caring and empathetic personality.
- Commitment to safeguarding children.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
