The Role :
We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work at an esteemed SEN School based in King's Lynn. This role offers the opportunity to work with children with a range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students on a one-on-one or small group basis, working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure each child is given the attention they need to thrive.

Your Responsibilities:
- Tailor support to address the unique learning requirements of students with SEN.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist in maintaining classroom order, fostering a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere.
- Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the academic and social progress of students with SEN.
- Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autism/ADHD experience).
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Caring and empathetic personality.
- Commitment to safeguarding children.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
