This Primary School is a specialist school for children aged 4-11 with complex learning needs, all of whom have an Education, Health and Care Plan. Our 150+ pupils are taught in small, nurturing groups, with learning highly personalised to meet their individual needs. What You'll Be Doing:
-Supporting the teaching and learning of pupils with complex needs
-Working one-to-one or in small groups to provide personalised support
-Using specialist resources such as sensory rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, and a forest school to enhance learning
-Encouraging independence, confidence, and communication skills in pupils
-Helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Who We're Looking For:
- A passionate and patient individual with a love for supporting children's development and learners with SEN
- Experience working with children (experience in SEN is a bonus, but not essential!)
- A team player who can work alongside teachers, therapists, and other support staff
- Someone who is positive, adaptable, and eager to learn
