You will be working on a 1:1 basis with one of the SEN children and young people within the school.

The ideal Teaching Assistant must be empathetic, calm, helpful, and dedicated to delivering the greatest learning experience possible for children and young people with special needs, who frequently exhibit challenging behaviours.
This is a full-time, long-term position, however the finest Teaching Assistant may be booked for a permanent position in the future.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Experience working with SEN pupils
- Managing challenging behaviour and supporting the class teacher
- Ability to assist teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment for children with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Understanding of autism
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to make one
- Eligibility to work in the UK(sponsorship is not available with this role)

Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Work on a 1:1 or small group basis with children who have Special Educational Needs
- Lesson/work planning for the students you are working with
- Utilise learning schemes in order to progress your student's learning
- Report back to parents and teachers regarding the students progress
- Supporting children's physical, social and emotional well-being
- Completion of daily records for pupils
- Classroom preparation for the following school day
