Role Overview
In this role, you will collaborate with teachers to provide classroom support and individual assistance to students. You'll help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported.
Key Responsibilities
🎓 Student Support:
- Provide personalised or group support to help students develop academically and socially.
- Promote independence and self-confidence through structured activities.
- Foster a nurturing, positive learning environment.
📚 Classroom Assistance:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons for SEN students.
- Help maintain a safe and organised classroom environment.
- Report on student progress to the teaching team.
Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in SEN.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- A patient, caring, and flexible approach to working with students.
