Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with sensory and complex needs?
We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our specialist school in Wandsworth. Our school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and young people with vision impairments, hearing impairments, physical disabilities, and complex learning needs.
What You'll Do:
âś… Work closely with teachers to support students with multi-sensory impairments.
âś… Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities and therapy sessions.
âś… Use specialist equipment and communication methods, including Braille, AAC, and BSL (training provided).
âś… Support students in developing independence, mobility, and life skills.
What We're Looking For:
✔️ Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
✔️ A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
✔️ Willingness to learn new skills, including Braille and sign language.
✔️ Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well being.
