As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you provide tailored support to students with special needs, like ADHD and autism, helping them succeed in an inclusive classroom. You work closely with teachers to adapt lesson plans, offer one-on-one assistance, and use strategies to improve focus and engagement.

Responsibilities as SEN TA:
- Create an engaging classroom environment
- Provide an individual support to the needy students
- Engage the students with activities and ensure full participation
- Support the teacher with lesson plans and strategies
- Liaise with parents, teacher and colleagues regarding child progress
- Provide personal care and assistance when needed
- Monitor and record student's progress
- Ensure safety and well being of the children
Requirements for this position:
- Eligibility to work
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service
- Professional references with clean records
- Previous experience in the UK schools or assisting children with learning difficulties, ADHD, Autism etc.
- Strong communication skills and behaviour management
- Driving on own by car is desirable
