We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 1-2) to join our awesome team in Darwen, where you'll be helping students aged 10-19 with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and more. What You'll Be Doing:
✨ Support their learning - Help plan lessons and activities that are as unique as our students!
✨ Celebrate progress - Provide feedback and help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
✨ Be their champion - Adapt support to their individual needs, while encouraging independence and positivity.
✨ Keep things running smoothly - Help with behaviour management and ensure everything is on track with school policies.
✨ Make it fun - Create a safe, exciting space where students feel encouraged to be their best selves!
What You'll Need:
- Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) students
- A full UK driving licence (You'll be helping with student transport, so it's essential!)
- GCSE Maths & English at Grade C/Level 2 or above
- Level 2 qualification in Teaching and Learning Support (desirable, but not a dealbreaker!)
- A deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Creativity, adaptability, and a whole lot of patience!
