We're looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to work across schools within the Rossendale area, to start in January 2025.
What You'll Do:
- Provide individualised support to students with a variety of Social, Emotional, Mental Health, and behavioral needs.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
- Assist with interventions, group support, and 1:1 support, including planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities.
- Monitor and track student progress, celebrating achievements and supporting their personal development.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a 1:1 support role.
- Experience working with students with SEN or a strong understanding of learning difficulties.
- Comfort and confidence in managing challenging behavior.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of students.
- TA Qualification or currently working towards this.
