As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Working alongside experienced teachers and staff, you will help create a learning space where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour in the classroom.
Support students' development through consistent encouragement and structured routines.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external specialists to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment tailored to SEN learners.
Support with personal care needs if required.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting.
A calm, empathetic, and patient approach.
Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic classroom environment.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Relevant education or childcare qualifications (desirable but not essential).
