Role Overview
In this role, you will lead and develop the SEN department, working closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and therapeutic professionals to support students with SEN needs. Your work will focus on creating tailored strategies to enable each student's progress while ensuring our programs meet the schools high standards for SEN education.
Key Responsibilities
- Individualised Learning: Develop and implement SEN support tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to teaching staff, ensuring effective, compassionate SEN support throughout the school.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that the school adheres to SEN policies and track student progress, offering insights and adjustments as needed.
- Parental Collaboration: Partner with families to foster student success both at school and home.
Who We're Looking For
- Qualified & Experienced: Holds Qualified Teacher Status and the National SENCo Qualification, with prior experience in SEN settings.
