We are seeking a dedicated SEND Administrator to join a vibrant secondary school in Leeds. This role involves providing essential administrative support to the SEND department, ensuring that all students receive the support they need to thrive.
The goal of the school's strong ethos is to give every student an exceptional, well-rounded, and forward-thinking education. They have received "Outstanding" ratings from the Diocesan and Ofsted.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven administrative experience in a school or similar setting.
- Familiarity with SEND processes and legislation (e.g., EHCPs, SEND Code of Practice).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and school-specific systems (e.g., SIMS).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SEND records, including EHCPs and individual learning plans.
- Coordinate annual reviews and meetings with parents, staff, and external agencies.
- Provide administrative support for the SENCO and SEND team.
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to share relevant information.
- Ensure compliance with SEND policies and statutory requirements.
- Update and manage SEND data on school systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare reports and documents for internal and external use.
- Monitor and track provision and interventions for SEND students.
- Assist in creating a welcoming environment for students, parents, and visitors.
