About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly school in Patchway. This permanent, full-time position is dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs, fostering a nurturing environment to help each child succeed. Working with a committed team, you'll offer essential support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group assistance to SEN students, promoting accessible learning.
- Implement IEPs and behavioural strategies for a supportive classroom environment.
- Tailor curriculum activities to suit individual learning needs.
- Track and report progress to staff and parents, aiding in personalized development.
Requirements:
- Experience: SEN experience preferred but not mandatory for those eager to make a difference.
- Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, and a nurturing approach.
- Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English proficiency is advantageous.
