Randstad Education is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Didsbury, Manchester. This long-term, full-time role offers the chance to work with children who have special educational needs (SEND), providing valuable support in their educational journey. If you have at least 6 months experience in UK schools, an enhanced DBS, and a passion for helping children with complex needs, we want to hear from you!

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must have an Enhanced DBS check (child and adult) or be willing to apply for one.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working in UK schools.
• Experience working with children with complex education needs (preferred).
• Able to commit to working long-term/ Full-Time.
• Ideally available for 5 days in a week (Monday - Friday).
• Professional references from your recent employers.
• Must have Eligibility to work in the UK (ETW).

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to children with SEND, including those with complex needs.
• Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
• Offer one-on-one and group support to help students with personal care, social interaction, and learning tasks.
• Support emotional well-being by implementing strategies to help students manage emotional and behavioural challenges.
• Work closely with the SENCO and other specialists to create and maintain personalised learning plans.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students feel supported and valued.
