In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of SEND provision, ensuring all children receive the support they need to succeed. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children with SEND, driving inclusive practices throughout the school.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the school's SEND provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create and implement strategies tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
- Manage and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEND students.
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for children.
- Promote an inclusive approach across the school, ensuring every student feels valued and supported.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with substantial teaching experience.
- In-depth knowledge of SEND and the SEND Code of Practice.
- Proven leadership experience in a school setting with the ability to guide and manage a team of teaching assistants and support staff.
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs, with the ability to monitor and evaluate student progress effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff, parents, external agencies, and professionals.
- Organisational skills to handle multiple priorities and ensure compliance with SEND regulations.
- A genuine passion for inclusion and providing high-quality education tailored to individual student needs.
- Desirable: Familiarity with assistive technologies and strategies for supporting SEND learners.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to creating a safe learning environment.
