Senior Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure Project - SouthWest
Randstad are recruiting for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a strongly reputable water infrastructure contractor on the AMP8 framework. This is a contract role offering a competitive rate.

* Lead and manage the design and implementation of civil engineering works on the project, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
* Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and designers.
* Develop and implement detailed engineering designs and specifications.
* Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
* Coordinate with other disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to ensure seamless integration of designs.
* Identify and manage potential risks and issues, proposing solutions and corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices for water infrastructure projects.
Essential Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Senior Civil Engineer or in a similar role within the water industry.
* A strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, particularly related to water treatment works.
* Experience working on large-scale water infrastructure projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience working on Water projects or Frameworks
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards for water infrastructure projects.
* Experience with engineering software and design tools.
