Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Safer Gambling team is aligned with the broader Safer Gambling strategy, making sure all activities contribute to the company's objectives.
- Oversee the Safer Gambling Manager and EDD Manager, supervising their teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the entire Safer Gambling team, setting an example through effective management.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Manager to implement new Safer Gambling processes, ensuring they comply with industry standards.
- Regularly assess Safer Gambling policies and procedures to guarantee they are compliant, effective, and customer-centric.
- Act as the point of escalation for high-risk Safer Gambling cases, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Serve as the escalation point for both the Safer Gambling Manager and EDD Manager on complex or sensitive cases.
- Work closely with the Customer Support team to address Safer Gambling queries, providing updates on processes and best practices.
- Ensure Safer Gambling training materials are current, and deliver training to relevant teams as required.
- Partner with the Compliance team to address audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries.
- Maintain precise and comprehensive records of all responsible gambling activities, incidents, and interventions.
- Prepare reports on responsible gambling initiatives, highlighting key trends, challenges, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- Experience working with UKGC or other regulatory bodies.
- Experience with affordability assessments.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the online gaming industry.
- Strong understanding of customer support best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and foster a positive working environment.
- High proficiency in modern productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
- Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
