What you'll do:

- You'll be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of a wide range of plant and machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and productivity.
- This includes diagnosing and resolving complex issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting emergency repairs.
- You'll lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure everyone is working safely and efficiently.
- You'll play a key role in implementing and improving our maintenance processes, ensuring that all equipment meets industry standards and safety regulations.
What you'll need:
- A strong background in plant, agricultural machinery, or HGV engineering with experience in preventative maintenance and repairs.
- A solid understanding of mechanical systems and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Experience in team supervision and a proven ability to motivate and guide others.
- A strong commitment to safe work practices and the ability to ensure the well-being of yourself and your team.
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience in the construction, civil engineering, or waste industries.
* Expertise with excavators, dumpers, and compaction equipment.
* Welding and gas cutting skills.
