** ESTIMATOR - INSIDE IR35 - HIGHWAYS/CIVILS EXPERIENCE **
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in the Highways/Civils sector to join a leading contractor on a Highways management framework in North London.
This role is a freelance, 6 month rolling contract which will be based out of North London with the potential of flexible working as well.
The chosen candidate will need to have a previous experience in preparing estimates with a range if information from detailed construction info, through to feasibility study level information and have previous experience in civil engineering preferable highways schemes.
... Roles and responsibilities:
- Initial appraisal of tender opportunities and provision of project overview documents
- Preparation and delivery of tenders
- Assessment and allocation of plant/machinery
- Developing client portfolios and consolidating key client relationships
- Attending strategy meetings with project teams
- Attending site as required
- Completion of tender documentation and submission of the tender ensure a smooth handover of the project to the site team knowledge

Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar / Equivalent HND (not necessary)
- Experience working with a utility contractor
- Working knowledge of NEC/JCT
- Have a very good work ethic and be willing to work hard
