Position: Senior Site Manager
Location: Coventry, UK
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Bonus: 10% Guaranteed
Car Allowance: £7,000 per annum
Holiday: 25 days per annum
About the Role:
Our client, a distinguished independently owned main contractor, is seeking an accomplished Senior Site Manager to spearhead the construction of a £25 million school project in Coventry. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in a landmark development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and all project stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor project progress, prepare detailed reports, and present updates to senior management.
- Proactively address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Mentor and motivate on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale projects, with a preference for experience in the education sector.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
