My client are delighted to be growing their Engineering Services team with the addition of an experienced Senior Design Engineer where you will be joining a dynamic, collaborative IN-HOUSE team and working on exciting projects across a variety of sectors including but not limited to civil engineering, construction, commercial, marine & rail.
You will be:
- Responsible for the preparation and review of detailed technical designs for temporary works (including calculations, drawings, risk assessments and design certificates)
- Proposing and/or developing value engineered alternative solutions (during tender or construction phases)
- Support Construction Team with Temporary Works Solutions.
- Liaising with Temporary Works Coordinators, Project Teams, Subcontractors, Technical Office Team and Suppliers
- Developing, instigating and maintaining processes, procedures and standards for technical design
Joining an international team who are collaboratively breaking new ground by transforming temporary works designs, you will be a strong decision maker with logical methodology.
You will have:
- Completed a third level structural, structural or design engineering qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in design engineering
- A minimum of 10 years' experience working in Geotech, Concrete, Steel, Construction or Temporary Works Design Engineering
