Established in 2014, this is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia. The school is approximately 45 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. The school offers a broad and innovative curriculum from students from the age of 3 all the way to 18 years old. It offers a rich and diverse curriculum based on the prestigious UK National Curriculum. Students embark on their academic journey with the foundational stages, progress through to IGCSE examinations at the end of Year 11, and complete their studies with A Levels at Year 13. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver IGCSE and A-Level lessons (Cambridge syllabus).
- Prepare students for assessments using diverse teaching strategies.
- Mark and assess work, providing timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records and contribute to reports.
- Foster an engaging and positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with staff for a seamless learning experience.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree and Teaching qualification/certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- 3 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of subject area
- Experience of Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level syllabuses is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with teaching students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
- Experience supporting ESL students
- Able to adapt teaching methods, learning strategies, and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to integrate into an existing teaching structure.
- Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Competency in class management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
- Adaptable, patient, flexible, devoted, and a positive outlook.
- Fully committed to supporting students through both curricular and extracurricular activities.
