My client, a leading FM contractor, are seeking a proactive and skilled Building Services Shift Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team at a prestigious site. This is a critical role within a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth operation of essential systems and delivering a first-class service to their client.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on building services systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, plumbing, and BMS.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults on systems such as lighting, power circuits, fire alarms, generators, UPS, chillers, and pumps.
- Conduct HV/LV electrical maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, minimising disruption to site operations.
- Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including reporting on equipment performance and system reliability.
- Participate in site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and improvements.
Requirements:
- NVQ/C&G Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
- 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven experience in building services maintenance, ideally within a critical or high-profile environment.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, BMS, and other building systems.
- HV/LV experience (certification preferred but not essential).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
