Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of engineers during shifts to ensure all planned and reactive maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

• Perform hands-on maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of critical systems, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment.

• Act as the High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) for the site, overseeing HV operations and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with statutory requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, shift logs, and compliance documentation.

• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for specialist maintenance and repairs.

• Provide technical support and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.

• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times, conducting risk assessments and promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• HVAP (High Voltage Authorised Person) certification is essential.

• Proven experience in a similar role within a critical or commercial building environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to work a Continental Shift Pattern, including nights and weekends.

• Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, HND) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
