Freelance Site Engineer - Tram Civil Engineering - Dudley/Wolverhampton (Long Term)

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable freelance Site Engineer to join the team on a long-term basis, working on a major tram civil engineering project in Dudley and Wolverhampton. This project is essential for enhancing public transport and connectivity in the region. ...

What you'll be doing:

Assisting the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of site operations.
Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team.
Setting out works and monitoring progress against project plans and specifications.
Ensuring quality control measures are implemented and maintained.
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Preparing reports and documentation as required.

What you'll bring:

A proven track record of working as a Site Engineer on tram or similar civil engineering projects.
A thorough understanding of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
