What You'll Do:
- Play a key role in the construction of the substation, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the construction team, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Oversee setting out and leveling operations, ensuring the precise placement of structures and utilities.
- Monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and ensuring adherence to the highest safety standards, including those specific to high-voltage electrical work.
What We Need:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on substation or electrical infrastructure projects.
- A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to substation construction, including knowledge of high-voltage systems.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software for setting out and leveling operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
- A commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards, particularly in a high-voltage environment.
