We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a dynamic team on a high-profile office and laboratory build project in Thurrock. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in commercial construction, particularly in office blocks and laboratory developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing site engineering and setting out for structural and architectural elements.
Ensuring works are carried out in line with designs, specifications, and quality standards.
Managing subcontractors and liaising with project stakeholders.
Conducting site surveys, risk assessments, and quality control checks.
Providing technical support and problem-solving on-site.
Ensuring health & safety regulations are strictly followed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer in commercial construction.
- Strong background in office block and/or laboratory builds.
- Proficiency in setting out, surveying, and using CAD software.
- Knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and M&E coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction).
