Randstad are looking for an experienced Highways Site Manager for work on a local highways package in North London with a highly regarded Main Contractor.
Value of works is £10M and this is a freelance role paid CIS expected to last 12 Months
Scope includes construction of new roads,kerbing, drainage, bridges, and flood prevention and utilities (Gas, comms, water and electricity).

Duties:
- Safety, Quality, and Productivity: Oversee site operations, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and productivity targets.
- Project Execution: Monitor construction progress, ensuring alignment with approved designs and specifications. Track changes to the program and raise technical queries and early warnings.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Attend design meetings, client progress meetings, and commercial meetings.
- Cost Management: Collaborate with the commercial team to update cost forecasts and assist with compensation events.
- Material Management: Coordinate material orders with quantity surveyors to ensure timely delivery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of work completed.
Requirements:
HNC / HND / Recognised Civil Engineering Qualifiication
SMSTS/ CSCS
Highways Experience - Ideally working under NEC Contracts - Option A
