Randstad is partnering with a major contractor to recruit for a permanent Site Manager to initially work on a cladding remediation project in Bootle, Liverpool.
This role would suit a site manager from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor who has worked on cladding remediation projects.
You will be responsible for site based management and sub contractor management to ensure the project runs smoothly on a daily basis.
- You will liaise with and communicate fully with the Contracts/ Projects Manager / Director on all site based aspects of each delegated project.
- You will update Project Programme & issue weekly to the Project Manager or Contract Manager, in an agreed format.
- You will facilitate, chair and minute weekly subcontractor progress & Health & Safety meetings.
- You will assist in the production of Construction Phase Plans and be responsible for its availability on site at project commencement and updates
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Minimum HNC / HND or NVQ Level 7 qualification (preferred)
- Membership level CIOB, NVQ level 4 or a proven history of relevant experience.
- Proficient in the use of Project Commander and / or equivalent programming software.
- SMSTS
- Asbestos awareness
- CSCS Card
- First Aid
- PASMA
