We're looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager to take the lead on a new housing development project based in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to join a respected construction company and play a key role in delivering high-quality homes on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring all operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and materials to ensure smooth project progress.
Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and site presentation.
Monitor and report on progress, costs, and deadlines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the project team.
Requirements:
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate
Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
First Aid at Work qualification
Strong experience in residential construction/site management
Good technical knowledge and the ability to read drawings/specs
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
