Randstad are seeking an exceptional professional to lead the construction of a prestigious £10M luxury home in Reading, Berkshire. As the Site Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of this high-profile project, ensuring exceptional quality, timely delivery, and client satisfaction. You will coordinate with architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to bring this unique vision to life. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a truly bespoke property with complex architectural and design features.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site activities, ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, reporting to senior management and clients.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers to achieve top-quality results.
- Ensure all construction aligns with architectural specifications and design intent.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly, maintaining smooth project flow.
- Conduct regular quality checks to meet high standards of craftsmanship.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client and stakeholder communications.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in high-end residential construction, ideally on projects valued at £5M+.
- Strong knowledge of bespoke construction methods, materials, and finishes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
- A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Relevant construction management qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, NVQ).
