What you'll be doing:
- Leading the Team: You'll be responsible for supervising and coordinating a team of skilled laborers on site, ensuring efficient and safe execution of works.
- Quality Control: You'll play a crucial role in implementing and upholding quality control measures, ensuring all work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Communication & Collaboration: You'll effectively communicate with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Problem-Solving: You'll identify potential issues, implement solutions, and ensure project milestones are met on schedule.
- Health & Safety: You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
What you'll bring:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in highways projects, with a strong focus on civil engineering, drainage, utilities, paving, and curbing works.
- Knowledge: A solid understanding of relevant design and construction standards for highways and associated disciplines.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving, capable of identifying and addressing challenges on site.
- CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card is essential.
